These days, Miguel retains his appearance with pronounced lines around hazel iris eyes and his near shoulder length graying hair. In 2005, he smartly founded his Salted Music imprint that has released hundreds of titles by various artists.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Today, Migs continues to cultivate his soulful house brand when touring and releasing critically acclaimed music\/remixes via digital platforms worldwide. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">At Franklin Park, no one is overly concerned with imbibing.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Spilled libations are nowhere on the pathways. No one asks to sniff.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Vape? Weed? After all, this is a public park.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Instead, the right amount of purists, music lovers and dance enthusiasts with the right amount of cool are gathered.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Everyone is too busy dancing to Miguel Migs\u2019 featuring Meshell Ndegeocello \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.traxsource.com\/title\/425296\/what-do-you-want\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">What Do You Want<\/a>\u201d in a not too crowded but comfortable and safe space. No one elbows you in the ribs. No one steps on your sneakers. No one shoves your shoulders out the way. Attendees actually respect your personal space.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Lisa Shaw returns to stage.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Her rendition of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.traxsource.com\/title\/601669\/i-can-see-it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I Can See It<\/a>\u201d illuminates, much like the Rock the Park DC logo projected onto the National Historic Landmark that sits on Native ground across 13th Street, Franklin School. But the track \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.traxsource.com\/title\/4421\/cherry-inc-miguel-migs-and-scott-hardkiss-mixes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cherry<\/a>\u201d from her 2005 tops her performance. One guest sings every lyric in awe. \u201cD.C. we miss ya\u2019ll.\u201d Shaw proclaims. Before rousing handclaps closes the Miguel Migs two-hour highlight.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Your friend states, \u201cEarlier, there was too much funk for my taste,\u201d as he eyes the night sky as if searching for a distant constellation.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Like the O\u2019Jays chart topper, there was a message in the music. Rock the Park is an exploration of Black music. The journey through soul.
